Print Corner gets AccurioPress to meet demands

-Konica Minolta machines form the backbone of Print Corner’s production setup.

-Print Corner has recently invested in a Konica Minolta AccurioPress 6272P.

India, 27 June,2025: Amul Vijay Thakkar of Print Corner said, “We chose the machine specifically to meet our growing demand for high-volume monochrome printing. With our monthly print output scaling rapidly, we needed a reliable, high-speed solution to support our production load. Given our long-standing familiarity with Konica Minolta machines, we did not require additional training during the installation, as our team was already well-versed in operating the technology.”

Konica Minolta machines form the backbone of Print Corner’s production setup. The current lineup includes a pre-owned Bizhub Press 1052, two units of the AccurioPress 6120, the AccurioPrint C4065 for colour printing, and its most recent acquisition, the AccurioPress 6272P.

“This comprehensive fleet of equipment allows us to seamlessly manage both monochrome and colour printing jobs, enabling us to meet the high-volume and time-sensitive demands of our academic and educational publishing clients,” Thakkar said.

Print Corner

Print Corner was established in 2022 with a clear focus on delivering high-quality, on-demand printing services, particularly for the academic and educational publishing sector.

“We began operations with a pre-owned Konica Minolta press, and over time, expanded our infrastructure by investing in new Konica Minolta machines. Today, our core services revolve around print-on-demand books, educational content, and academic publications. Within a short span, we have scaled up to printing approximately 10 million A4 pages every month,” Thakkar said.

The company’s primary clientele includes publishers, educational institutions, and organisations involved in academic and school-related printing. We specialise in delivering consistent, high-volume printing for educational books and related content,” he added.

Print Corner operates with a small and efficient team of seven employees. This includes two or three operators handling machine operations, and three or four team members managing post-press processes such as binding and finishing.

Thakkar said, “We anticipate recovering our investment in the AccurioPress 6272P within approximately one year, thanks to the consistent volume of work and the improved speed and productivity of the machine. Since this model is an upgrade in speed and efficiency rather than a completely new system, it seamlessly fits into our existing operations, helping us enhance output without operational disruption.”

AVG gets AccurioPress for in-house short-run printing

India, 20 June,2025: Previously, the company used to outsource such work, which led to delays and inconsistent quality Karnal-based AVG Print recently invested in a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080, which has been running on the company shopfloor since July 2023.

Vishal Bhutani of AVG Print said, “We invested in the AccurioPress C4080 to address our growing requirement for high-quality, short-run print jobs. Before that, we had to outsource such work, which led to delays and inconsistent quality. The C4080 has helped us bring this segment in-house, allowing us to offer premium results comparable to offset printing, especially for quick turnaround jobs.”

He added, “The Konica Minolta team provided full support during installation and training. Their engineers guided our operators through the setup and ensured that all queries were addressed professionally. We’ve had a great experience with their service team, who are prompt and responsive and usually resolve issues quickly.”

AVG

Along with the AccurioPress C4080, the company’s facility is equipped with an extensive lineup of offset printers, including Heidelberg 102 ZP, Adast Polly 566, KBA Performa 74, Heidelberg 2-color SMZ, and Planeta Super Variant 102. It also has a range of finishing equipment, cutting machines, and other pre-press infrastructure to support commercial and packaging print production.

AVG Print & Pack was established in 2001 in Karnal with a focus on offset printing. It began with a single-colour offset machine from Prakash Offset and gradually expanded into screen printing. “Until 2010, our strength was product design and offset production. In 2010, we further diversified our business by expanding into the machinery segment. Today, we specialise in both printing and packaging, offering a wide range of solutions that include labels, mono cartons, and customised packaging materials,” Bhutani said.

AVG Print & Pack is a family-owned enterprise led by three brothers — Vishal Bhutani, Gaurav Bhutani, and Arun Bhutani. Each plays an integral role in business operations and growth.

The company’s primary clientele includes companies in the pesticide and agrochemical sector. “We cater to their specific printing and packaging needs, with a focus on delivering high-quality labels, mono cartons, and other essential packaging materials. Our offerings are customised to meet industry-specific demands, ensuring timely and precise outputs,” Bhutani said.

The team comprises over 70 professionals working across various departments. It has a 5-member design team, 8–9 employees managing administrative operations, 30–35 individuals working in offset printing, and others dedicated to finishing, binding, and logistics. This structured approach ensures seamless coordination and efficient production.

Bhutani said the ROI from the AccurioPress C4080 is progressing steadily. “While the ROI hasn’t been fully realised yet — as digital printing is a newer vertical for us compared to our established offset operations — it has already added significant value by reducing dependency on outsourcing short-run jobs. We’re confident that with time, and as demand continues to rise, the investment will yield strong returns,” he concluded.

Makkar Copiers buys AccurioPress

Makkar

The company has a legacy of over 35 years, originally established by Singh’s father. “Inspired by his journey, I decided to carry the legacy forward and expand the operations. This led to the launch of a new unit in Aashiyana, Lucknow just three months ago. The new facility is part of our vision to grow our footprint and serve a wider customer base in the region,” he said.

The company caters to broker-driven business. However, since setting up its Aashiyana unit, it has gradually started attracting walk-in customers as well. “Our clientele spans various sectors, including hospitals, educational institutions, and local businesses. Our Flex machine also enables us to serve clients with large-format print needs, helping us diversify our offerings,” he said, adding, “We currently have a compact yet efficient team of seven employees handling different aspects of our operations.”

Though it’s only been a short while since the installation, Singh said the response has already exceeded his expectations. “The fact that we are the first to install the C7100 in this locality has sparked interest among customers and helped us stand out. The machine’s print quality and reliability have already begun translating into increased business. We are optimistic about achieving a strong return on investment in the coming months as more clients experience our enhanced capabilities,” he concluded.

RR Digital Mart invests in AccurioPress

-RR Digital Mart has recently invested in a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090.

India, 08 August,2025: Paramjit Singh of RR Digital Mart said, “We chose to invest in the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090 after comparing several machines in the market. We attended the PrintPack exhibition in Noida, where we evaluated print samples from multiple brands, including machines from Ricoh. Konica Minolta impressed us with its print quality and performance. After the installation, the Konica Minolta team provided complete support, including a thorough walkthrough of the machine. Our visit to the PrintPack exhibition also helped us understand the machine’s full capabilities before making the final decision.”

Currently, the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090 is the only digital press installed at RR Digital Mart. It is the core machine of its digital setup, handling the entire range of its digital print production.

RR Digital Mart in March 2025 as a dedicated digital printing company. Before launching this venture, the company was engaged in the offset printing business for over 25 years through its family-run operation started by Singh’s father.

RR-Digital

“Over time, we noticed a shift in client demands from high-volume offset printing to short-run, on-demand jobs. This prompted us to set up a separate digital unit to meet the evolving needs of the market. RR Digital Mart is an independent setup focused entirely on digital printing,” Singh said.

Singh brings more than two decades of experience in the printing industry. As the owner, he is directly involved in decision-making, operations, client relations, and strategic planning to ensure quality service and business growth.

“Our clientele includes walk-in customers from nearby towns and villages. Many of them have been associated with us since our offset printing days and have now transitioned to digital printing for smaller print runs. We work extensively with the education sector, providing college brochures, magazines, and academic materials. We also cater to local businesses looking for short-run jobs such as 500 copies or less. Our strength lies in offering reliable, efficient, and high-quality print solutions under one roof,” he said.

The current team consists of five to six people. Two members handle computer operations, and two manage the digital printing machines. The entire team is trained to work specifically in a digital environment, enabling us to operate efficiently and deliver consistent results.

Singh concluded, “Since we installed the machine just after the main printing season, we have not yet fully recovered our investment. However, we are already seeing positive results. We are generating around 2.5 lakh impressions per month without significant marketing efforts, primarily relying on our existing client base. With the upcoming season expected to bring higher demand, we are confident that we will recover our investment and potentially earn two to three times more soon.”
