Amritsar Wedding Album Printer Adds Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090

-Golden City Digital Offset Printers puts focus on enhancing capacity.

India, 11 November,2024: Golden City Digital Offset Printers, an Amritsar-based commercial printer known for its premium wedding albums, has increased its production capacity by installing an AccurioPress C7090 from Konica Minolta. The 10- year-old printer has previously invested in two other Konica Minolta presses.

Golden City Digital Offset Printers’ primary focus is on premium wedding album printing, which constitutes a significant portion of the business. In addition, it specializes in offering other printing services that accommodate the diverse needs of the clients. “We ensure that we remain versatile in our offerings as our daily operations involve processing high volume print jobs, maintaining good quality, and making sure to meet deadlines,” said Tajinder Singh, owner.

The company, registered as a partnership, claims to deliver high-quality printing through continuous investments in advanced technology such as Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090. On business, Singh says, “With a decade of experience in printing, we have built a reputation for quality and reliability. We are satisfied with the services and machinery provided by Konica Minolta, as their support has played a key role in helping us grow.”

The AccurioPress C7090 is among Konica Minolta’s newest CMYK cut-sheet toner press. It optimizes print performance by offering advanced and creative possibilities, including high-quality imagery in full bleed. The media-versatile press comes with several features – Image density control technology, optional inter-cooler curl eliminator, embossed paper support, paper feeding through air-blow fusing separation, and more. It can handle long sheet sizes of up to 1300 mm and duplex up to 900 mm.

“The AccurioPress C7090 has been in place for two years,” said Singh. “It has been the third major investment we have made in a Konica Minolta machine and upgrading our equipment consistently enables us to stay ahead of the game in the competitive printing market. The previous Konica Minolta machines were reliable, and we wanted to add capacity, hence we decided to upgrade the machinery to meet the rising demand for precision and speed in printing services. So far, the C7090 has delivered on our expectations by increasing the output of production, improving the quality of wedding albums, and meeting the deadlines.”

On company plans, Singh said, “At present, we are content with our current structure as well as the size. Maintaining the quality of service, which has achieved long-time client relationships, is on our priority list while constantly improving efficiency through modern technology. Though the company remains open to all future opportunities, the current strategy involves stability, quality customer satisfaction, and meeting evolving industry demands without spreading resources too thin.”

Just past the middle of 2024, we can see that the Indian economy is resilient but the trajectory of the growth is still uneven. Consumption is erratic but in our industry while newspapers are still down, the book publishing and printing industry are building up capacities.

Indian Printer and Publisher founded in 1979 the oldest B2B trade publication in the multi-platform and multi-channel IPPGroup, created the category of privately owned B2B print magazines in the country. And by its diversification in packaging, (Packaging South Asia), food processing and packaging (IndiFoodBev) and health and medical supply chain and packaging (HealthTekPak) and its community activities in training, research, and conferences [Ipp Services, Training and Research www.ippstar.org] the organization continues to create platforms for quality information, data, technology insights and events.

India is a large and tough terrain and while its book publishing and commercial printing industry have recovered and are increasingly embracing digital print, the Indian newspaper industry needs to recover its credibility and readership. The signage industry is slowly recovering and shifting to digital billboards. New technologies such as digital 3D additive printing, digital textiles, and industrial printing are coming onto our pages. Trade media will have to adapt with agility to keep up with new business and technical information needs.

India is one of the fastest growing economies in nominal and real terms – in a region poised for the highest change in year to year expenditure in printing equipment and consumables. Our 2025 media kit is getting ready, and it is the right time to recalibrate your role in this dynamic market – to emphasize your visibility and relevance to existing customers and turn potential markets into conversations.
